Prof. Ashok Chauhan, MD, Senior Professor & Unit Head is a Graduate from PGIMS Rohtak and did his MD as first postgraduate student of Department of Radiotherapy, PGIMS Rohtak which was awarded in 1991. He joined as faculty of PGIMS Rohtak in 1993 and promoted as Senior Professor in July, 1996. Keeping in view the highly proficient administrative and clinical capabilities, the Institute has assigned him the extra responsibility of Medical Superintendent in 2012 and he served till 2018, for maximum duration on this administrative post of PGIMS Rohtak. He has special interest in Head & Neck, Breast, Gynaecological and Lung cancers. He is member of 5 National Scientific Associations and has more than 100 publications in National and International journals and also been awarded the Best Paper Award. He is an excellent research scholar with more than 250 citations to his credit.
